About Michelle

My name is Michelle Nolen and I am a lifelong crafter. I primarily knit and crochet at this time. I started dyeing yarn as a hobby and when I couldn't find a color I wanted.  Since the fall of 2024 I have grown this hobby into a business. 

In my day job I'm a librarian. My craft addiction has come in handy in my work life. I teach multiple classes a year on crocheting, felting (wet and needle), sewing, quilling, beadwork, etc.  I teach all age groups and skill levels. This can be challenging but also rewarding. Add frustrating to that. also But it is awesome when someone brings in a finished product to show and they are beaming with pride. 

I hope to make dyeing into a full time business once I retire. Which will be here before I know it, but seems like forever away.  For now I'm planning only on selling online and at some local craft fairs and festivals.
